SSC CGL 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who wants to apply for SSC CGL 2020 should remember that they fulfill the minimun eligibility criteria specified by SSC.
NATIONALITY:
(i) A candidate must be a citizen of India, or
(ii) A candidate must be a subject of Nepal, or
(iii) A candidate must be a Subject of Bhutan, or
(iv) A candidate must be a Tibetan refugee who came to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
(v) A candidate must be of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri lanka, Vietnam, Burma and East African countries.
AGE LIMIT:

SSC CGL 2020 Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have a Bachelor degree in any stream from the university recognised by the Government of India . while some posts required even 60% and above in Maths in 12th standard or bachelor degree with Statistics as one of the subject.

Note:
(i) Tier – I and Tier – II consist of Objective type, Multiple Choice questions.
(ii) Paper – I and Paper – II are compulsory for all the candidate. Paper – III of Tier – II will be only for those candidate who apply for the post of JSO(Junior Statistical Officer)
Penalty for wrong Answers (Different for Tier – I and Tier – II Examination):
There will be a negative Marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer in Tier – I examination while in case of Tier – II Examination There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer in paper – II and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper – I, Paper – III and Paper – IV.

Exam Day Guidelines (Important for students):
Candidate will not be permitted to sit on the online preliminary examination without the following documents:
(1) Valid Call Letter of the respective date and sessions of Examination.
(2) Photo-identity proof which have same name and date of birth as you fill in your application form which also print on your call letter.
(3) Photocopy of photo-identity proof.
(4) Sometimes they also wants your photo so bring at least two passport size photo with you at the time of examination.
(5) Candidate reporting late at the exam centre will not be allow to sit on the examination.

Tier III
It is basically a descriptive paper. Candidate can attempt this paper in both English and Hindi. It is an offline exam. You have to write Essay, Letter, Precis, Application etc .Maximum marks for this exam is 100 and time alloted is 60 minutes ,For PwD candidate time increases to 80 minutes.
Tier IV
Skill Test
Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)
This test is only for the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise & Income Tax) It requires 8000 key Despressions per hour on Computer. The test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 key depression for a duration of 15 minutes.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
The test consist of three modules: (i) Word Processing, (ii) Spreadsheet, (iii) Generation of slides , for various post.
